First Birthday

We had a great time at Smokey's Pizza with family. Not only was it Finnegan's first birthday, but it was his first time eating pizza and cake. Whew....big day!

Catepillar cake (from Costco, of course. Go Daddy!)

(Finnegan looks tired, but this picture was taken at the begining of the party!)

Cake time!

We're still here!

I swore to myself when I started this blog that I wouldn't abandon it, but I haven't done very well on my promise. So much has happened since the last post, and I will catch you all up starting right now!!

More Christmas

Christmas morning at home. Harley is helping out.

First Christmas

Finnegan is clearly not excited about looking for a Christmas tree. He slept the whole time!

Our little tree topper. It was very cute, but it was so short it looked like the top of a tree. It was worth it though...Finnegan barely touched it at all. The presents....we had to keep those in the other room until Christmas morning.

New toy box from mom and dad

First visit to Santa . Fourty-five minutes in line and one adorable photo! It was well worth it. Finn was a champ.

He jumps, he crawls!

Seven Months

What a full month it's been. Whew! Our first family vacation, Finn's first Halloween, solid foods, and he just started crawling! He goes about 6 steps or so, but he's better at it today than he was yesterday, so he'll be on the move in no time. Sadly, his long, fly-a-way baby hairs (the ones Troy wanted to cut...gasp) are gone. His hair is filling in, and I'm afraid he doesn't look like baby Einstein anymore.
Finnegan is such a joy and light in our lives, and we love him more everyday. My heart is full.

Halloween
